Our Facility
The CDC is housed on the Semmes First Baptist Church Campus. Both of our buildings are secured with a Camera Identifying System with Magnetic Locking Doors along with cameras in all classrooms, playgrounds, hallways, eating areas, and play areas. These safety features allow us to restrict access to visitors and monitor all children's safety.

- A Library/Art Room, a Construction/Manipulative Room, a Dramatic Play Room, and a School Age Room.

Infant A B & C
Our sweet bouncing babies are allowed to follow their own schedules for eating, sleeping, and play activity. We allow their bodies to tell them when they need food, sleep, elimination, and play. We do not structure activities for them. We prefer to look at these activities in the following blocks of time; Arrival, Feeding, Sleeping, Awake Time/Activity Time, & Departure. We have a 1:5 Teacher/Child ratio in our Infant Rooms.
Toddler A B & C
Our toddlers are full of life and bursting with energy. We implement the ABCJesusLovesMe curriculum for our toddlers through K4 children. With these units our staff will establish a developmentally appropriate lesson plan that will guide your child in the following areas of learning; Bible, Language, Literacy, Communication, Creative Arts, Music, Science, Technology, Mathematics, Social Studies, and Social/Emotional Development. Each week your child will develop further with many activities including; songs, books, manipulatives, crafts, games, discussions, and much more. K2
Our terrific twos keep us on our toes! During their K2 year they will work on becoming fully potty trained. We implement the ABCJesusLovesMe curriculum for our toddlers through K4 children. With these units our staff will establish a developmentally appropriate lesson plan that will guide your child in the following areas of learning; Bible, Language, Literacy, Communication, Creative Arts, Music, Science, Technology, Mathematics, Social Studies, and Social/Emotional Development. K3 & K4
In K3 & K4 our little explorers continue to learn and grow. We implement the ABCJesusLovesMe curriculum for our toddlers through K4 children. Kitchen
Our center has a full kitchen that is monitored by the Mobile County Health Department. We serve a ready to eat style breakfast daily. Children bring their lunch and snacks from home.
We serve Semmes and Allentown Elementary.

SUMMER CAMP - School Age
We believe Summer Camp should be FULL of FUN, enjoying friends and making memories. Each week brings a new and exciting theme with Trips, Crafts, Games, Special Guests and much more.
Special Events
At Semmes First Baptist we love to have FUN while we learn and we enjoy celebrating our families. Throughout the year we have exciting activities and trips along with days that we invite our parents to come and join us.
