About the Child Development Center
SFBCDC serves children 6weeks - K4 and we offer Before & After school care service for Allentown & Semmes Elementary along with a Summer Camp Program for children in Kindergarten-5th grade.
We have Full Time and Part time programs available.
We are a self-pay only center and do not accept Childcare South.

We are open Monday-Friday from 6:00am to 5:30pm
Full Time 6:00am-5:30pm
Part Time 8:00am-2:00pm (K2, K3, and K4 only)

The CDC closes for the following Holidays:
Winter Holiday (the day before & Mardi Gras Day)
Good Friday
Spring Break-Follows Mobile County Public Schools dates
July 4th
Labor Day
Thanksgiving & Day after Thanksgiving
Christmas Eve & Christmas Day (additional Christmas closing days will be announced each year)
New Year's Eve & New Year's Day

We implement the ABCJesusLovesMe curriculum for our toddlers through K4 children. With these units our staff will establish a developmentally appropriate lesson plan that will guide your child in the following areas of learning; Bible, Language, Literacy, Communication, Creative Arts, Music, Science, Technology, Mathematics, Social Studies, and Social/Emotional Development. Each week your child will develop further with many activities including; songs, books, manipulatives, crafts, games, discussions, and much more. To enroll a child please complete the following steps:

Summer Camp Enrollment 2024 * Registration Begins March 1st
New Students must first fill out the New Student Online Registration link above and print and sign the Summer Camp Info Sheet. Returning students only need to fill out the Info Sheet. You may fax this form to 645-2450 or email it to [email protected].
